Emma Says No to Fossil Fuel Money

On September 28, 2020, Emma Mulvaney-Stanak signed the "No Fossil Fuel Money" candidate pledge to refuse campaign contributions from fossil fuel executives, lobbyists or PACs. A coalition of organizations created the pledge in 2017 to remove fossil fuel industry influence on candidates and elected officials. Organizations in the coalition include 350.org, Vermont Public Interest Research Group, Sunrise, GreenPeace and Public Citizen, among many others. For more information on the pledge and climate justice movement, go to http://nofossilfuelmoney.org/.

The Pledge reads: “I pledge not to take contributions over $200 from oil, gas, and coal industry executives, lobbyists, and PACs and instead prioritize the health of our families, climate, and democracy over fossil fuel industry profits.”

Emma took the pledge one step further and pledges to not accept one penny from fossil fuel executives, lobbyists or PACs.
